Children at Performances
Children are welcome at our performances on the condition that they are quiet and reasonably still throughout the performance, for the benefit of other patrons. We request that young children in particular are removed from the auditorium if they are upset and making noise, for the benefit of other patrons.
While children are welcome to attend, MTG advises that is plays are not selected for the purpose of family entertainment and may not be suitable for or understood by children. The attendance of children is at the discretion of their guardian, and they must be accompanied and directly supervised by their guardian at any MTG event. MTG encourages parents to consider the content of the play before purchasing tickets, and contact us if they have questions about the content.
Concessions
MTG provides a dscount for seniors and students attending performances.

Patrons are welcome to bring their own cold food and drink to performances. BYO alcohol is permitted, but no spirits. We ask that audiences do not bring any hot food, as the smell makes the actors hungry! Complimentary sherry is provided in the 30 minutes before doors open, as is water. Tea, coffee, water and cake are provided at interval.
No photography of any kind is to occur during performances without the express permission of MTG. Where permission is granted, flash photography should not be used.
It is requested that all patrons consider the comfort of other audience members when viewing the show, including turning all phones and other devices to silent, and minimising any possible disruption such as noise and movement.
It is a condition of entry that a search of persons or possessions may be required at the time of entry to the Venue.
MTG reserves the right to refuse admission or evict a ticket holder in accordance with the LPA Ticketing Code of Practice or if they compromise the health, safety or welfare of MTG staff with aggressive or abusive behaviour.
Exchanges and Refunds
In general MTG does not provide refunds or exchanges but may do so at at our discretion. If you wish to request an exchange or refund please contact our ticket secretary at tickets@mtg.org.au.
Latecomers
We request that all audience members endeavour to arrive prior to curtain. There is a 30 minute window between doors opening and curtain, which we encourage patrons to use in order to be seated in advance of curtain. However, in the case of adverse circumstances, if you arrive late you should make your way to the furthest red door. Front of House workers wear black with purple ties or scarves, and you should speak to them if you see them. If no Front of House workers are visible, quietly open the furthest red door, where Front of House should be available to show you to your seat at an appropriate time. This door opens at the rear of the auditorium to provide minimal disruption. Returning audience members will recognise this as the usual entrance.

If you have received and then lost your tickets, contact the ticket secretary at tickets@mtg.org.au.
